The ceremony booking deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
If you need to cancel your ceremony, the registrars’ fees will be fully refunded if you do so two or more months before the ceremony date. If less than two months, please see the table below for guidance in regard to your refund.
|Cancellation period||Entitled reimbursement (minus deposit)|
|Two or more months||100%|
|Two or more weeks||25%|
|Less than two weeks||0%|
For example, if you pay £650 in registrars’ fees, and cancel three months before the ceremony date, you will lose the £50 deposit, but will be reimbursed with 100% of the remainder, which is £600.
If you cancel one month before the ceremony, you will lose the deposit and be reimbursed with 50% of the registration fees paid, which is £300, and so on.
If either party fail to attend the ceremony, this is considered a cancellation and no refund will be available.
If you do need to cancel your ceremony, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org stating both parties’ full names, date and time of the ceremony, and the venue.
