Following the release of the inquiry’s report, Lambeth council wishes to re-state our sincere and heartfelt apology to all victims and survivors of abuse and neglect whilst in Lambeth’s care. The Council, which was responsible for their care and protection, failed to do so with profound consequences. The council is deeply sorry for their experiences.

The Summer of Food and Fun 2021 will be delivered in over 80 hubs across the borough with free activities and healthy meals available from July 26 to August 27.By investing over £1 million the council aims to provide 60,000 sessions of fun activities including sports, nature walks, yoga, dance, board games, self-defence, cooking, gardening, visual and performing arts and more.
The Ecosystem Coldharbour Consortium works on a range of projects including addressing the root causes of violence in Brixton and the Angell Town, Moorlands and Loughborough Estates and they are looking for seven new recruits to fill their community consultant posts.
To support residents and businesses to get online the council is investing £17 million as part of Lambeth's Digital Strategy, and commitment to make sure all households and businesses have access to digital services. The strategy will focus on providing digital skills training, employment opportunities and tech infrastructure across the borough.
The Local Government Boundary Commission seeks residents’ views on further draft boundary recommendations, covering Clapham Common and Stockwell East & Landor Wards in the area south and east of Clapham Common and Stockwell tube stations, West Norwood, Gipsy Hill, and West Dulwich St Martin’s Wards, which includes the Tulse Hill area. The consultation ends on 26 July.
