Costs for this service
Annual fees are based on the non-domestic rateable value of your premises. You can find the current rateable value of your premises using the Valuation Office Agency's search engine.

Premises in bands D or E used mainly for consuming alcohol on the premises, are subject to fee multipliers. These have fees of £640.00 for band D and £1,050 for band E.
Premises licences for large capacity events have an extra annual fee, based upon the number of people allowed to attend the event at any time. The extra annual fee must be added to the relevant annual fee in the table above.

Some community premises may not have to have a licence or pay annual fees as they are only licensed for entertainment and not alcohol or late night refreshment. These include church halls, chapel halls, village halls, community centres, schools and colleges. To discuss whether this should apply to your premises contact the Licensing Team.
