Aurora House is a Lambeth maintained specialist provision for primary aged pupils with autism. The Wyvern Federation opened Aurora House, Centre for Children with Autism, in October 2014. In January 2017 a new purpose built opened, providing a safe, calm and engaging learning environment that has been specifically designed to meet the needs of pupils with autism. Each classroom has direct access to an outside learning space, and pupils have access to a range of facilities including a large sports hall, soft play and sensory rooms.
Admission to the Resource Base will be according to the following objectives and admissions criteria; all pupils admitted to the Base will have an EHC plan with a primary need of ASD and admission to the Base will be through the Lambeth SEND Team.
