The proposal and purpose

Our new Health and Wellbeing Strategy will set out a number of key priorities which will drive action to create change and help improve the health and wellbeing of all who live, work and play in the Borough. The Strategy is designed to reduce health inequalities which exist in the borough and we want to know what you think is most important for us to tackle.

Background information

It is a statutory requirement to have a Health and Wellbeing Strategy. Our current strategy in Lambeth runs out in 2023, so we are writing our new one.

We have already undertaken early engagement with a variety of organisations and individual stakeholders and have been able to identify a number of areas of focus. However, we need to refine these areas so they are the ones which will make the biggest difference and where we will see the greatest improvement. We need your help in doing that together.

How to respond

We welcome your thoughts and views on what should be included in the strategy and help prioritise them.  Please share your views by completing our online survey:

The results of the consultation will be built into the final Health and Wellbeing Strategy’s priorities, which will be formally agreed by the Health and Wellbeing Board in the autumn.
