1. An Election is to be held for one Member of the London Assembly to serve Lambeth & Southwark constituency.
2. Forms of nomination for the Lambeth and Southwark Constituency Member may be obtained at London Borough of Lambeth, Room G.14, Town Hall, 2 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1RW from the Constituency Returning Officer.
3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Constituency Returning Officer, London Borough of Lambeth, Room G.14, Town Hall, 2 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1RW on any weekday (excluding bank holidays) from the date of this notice between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm but no later than 4pm on Tuesday, 30 March 2021.
4. The required deposit may either be made online, by the deposit of any legal tender, or by means of a banker’s draft from a drawer which carries on business as a banker in the United Kingdom.
5. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 6 May 2021.
6. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 19 April 2021.
7. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at London Borough of Lambeth, Town Hall, 2 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1RW by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April 2021.
8. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at London Borough of Lambeth, Town Hall, 2 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1RW by 5pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021.
9. Applications may be made to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity, for work/service reasons, or because you need to self-isolate due to Covid-19. Applications must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at London Borough of Lambeth, Town Hall, 2 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1RW by 5pm on Thursday, 6th May 2021. To apply to vote by emergency proxy, the person must have become aware of the reason that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Tuesday, 27 April 2021.
