Annual Electoral Canvass

We contact all residential properties in Lambeth from late July as part of the Annual Electoral Canvass. Lambeth’s Electoral Registration Officer must undertake a canvass of all households in the borough each year to check that voter details are correct.

If you've been sent a canvass notification letter

The canvass notification letter we've sent you tells you whether or not you need to respond.

If your letter tells you to respond and you have not done so, we may need to send you a reminder, phone you to confirm details or visit your address.

If you have no changes to make

You'll need the two-part security code printed on the form to respond.

I have no changes to make

If you need to make changes

Respond online

I need to make changes to the details on my form

If you cannot respond online, you can also respond by:

  • SMS – text NOCHANGE followed by both parts of the security code to 80212 (standard charges apply)
  • Telephone – call 0800 197 9871

Respond using the paper form

If the form you were sent says ‘canvass form’ at the top, you can make changes on the paper form and send it back to us in the pre-paid envelope provided instead of doing it online.
