What you need to know...

National Offer Days 2020 and 2021

You can view details of how offers were made on National Offer Day in 2020 and 2021 to help you decide which schools to apply for. Please be aware that this is only for reference and cannot be used as a guarantee of how places will be offered for the 2022-23 intake though.

You may also wish to look at a school's Ofsted report.

If your child is attending a through school and you wish them to continue into Year 7 at that school, you do not need to complete a secondary transfer application. However, it is advised that you confirm this intention with staff at your child's current school.

Secondary transfer meetings for parents/carers

Online meetings for parents/carers have been organised on the following dates to explain the secondary transfer co-ordinated admissions process and give you the opportunity to ask questions about the procedure. Please use the links below to attend:

Thursday 9 September 2021, 6:30-7:30pm

Monday 13 September 2021, 1:30-2:30pm

These meetings will be via Microsoft Teams and no advanced booking is required.

Children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), you'll need to apply for a school place in a different way.

See the SEND Local Offer section to read about choosing and applying for a school for a child with an ECHP.

Applying for a school place using the e-admissions portal when your child has an EHCP will not be valid and your child may miss out on a school place.

If you don't live in Lambeth

If you live in a different borough but want to send your child to a school in Lambeth, please view the information on your home council's website and apply using their Common Application Form.

Applying for schools in a different borough

If you live in Lambeth and want to apply for a school in a different borough, you'll still need to apply through the Lambeth school admissions team and follow the application process in this guide.

You can find the school admissions details for school places in neighbouring boroughs below.
