Bulky waste

Find out how to arrange collection of large household items that cannot be reused or recycled.

What we collect

Please only use this service for items that can’t be reused or recycled.

Items in good, usable condition can be donated to local charities. Some charities offer free collections, for example Emmaus or British Heart Foundation.

Items that can’t be reused, but can be recycled, should be taken to a recycling centre.

Most retailers must provide a way for you to dispose of old household electrical and electronic equipment when you buy a new version of the same item. You should check with the retailer before you order a collection – find out more about retailer responsibilities.

  • cookers
  • lawnmowers
  • carpets
  • bed frames
  • mattresses
  • furniture
  • televisions
  • small electrical items

What we do not collect

Items that were not listed on your booking form and paid for will not be collected.

We do not collect:

We offer a home clearance service, which may be suitable if you have a large amount of waste that cannot be collected by our bulky waste service.
