Lambeth residents can use Smugglers Way Household Waste and Recycling Centre. It accepts more items (including rubbish) than Lambeth reuse and recycling centre.

From 22 March 2021, you must book a slot to use Smugglers Way Household Waste and Recycling Centre in a car.

You do not need to book if you're dropping off waste on foot or by bicycle.

You must bring photo identification which confirms your Lambeth address. If your photo identification doesn’t include your current address, you can also bring a document confirming your Lambeth address.

Photo identification can include a:

  • passport
  • full or provisional UK driving licence
  • EU photocard driving licence
  • national identity card (non-UK nationals)
  • Freedom Pass

Proof of your Lambeth address can include a:

  • recent council tax bill
  • drivers licence
  • household bill
  • parking permit
  • recent bank statement
  • rent or mortgage statement
  • tenancy agreement

The booking form, or the Council officer if you need to make a booking by telephone, will ask you for your:

  • car registration number
  • name and address details
  • mobile telephone number
  • email address
