Residents' parking permit (e-permit)

Apply online for an on-street parking permit.

Change of vehicle and address

You can now change your vehicle and address details on your permit via your epermits online account.

When you change your vehicle, you need to ensure that your permit is immediately changed to reflect this, as your existing permit is only valid for the vehicle you applied under.

You will be asked to provide copies of the vehicle registration document (V5/C) or valid insurance schedule for your new vehicle, and you will need to wait for the evidence to be approved. Until the evidence is approved, you must ensure that the vehicle is legally parked by purchasing visitor vouchers or using pay by phone.

If your existing parking permit falls within the same cost band as your new vehicle, a straightforward swap can take place. If the new vehicle is in a higher band then the difference must be paid. An £11 administration charge is payable.

When you change your address on your permit, you are also required to update this immediately to validate your permit. You will be asked to provide proof of address to support this change. An £11 administration charge is payable.
