What is the SEND Local Offer?

The Local Offer is the place where children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) and their families can information about help and services in Lambeth.

Why do we have a Local Offer?

The SEND Code of Practice says that all local authorities must have a Local Offer, that sets out, in one place, all the education, health and social care provision for children and young people in their area who have special educational needs or are disabled.

The Code says that the information should help support:

  • children and young people from birth to 25 years old who have SEND
  • parents and carers of children with SEND
  • professionals working in health, care, and education
  • providers of services for children and young people.

Our Local Offer supports the SEND and Inclusion Strategy and helps us provide an effective and responsive service to our users.

If you want to tell us anything about our Local Offer, please visit our feedback page, complete the form and we'll get back to you.

Schools’ Local Offers

Every school has a Local Offer, also known as the SEND information report. You can use the map of schools, colleges and nurseries to find school websites. They should all have a link to their SEND information report.

Outside Lambeth

If you or someone you care for are in school or college outside Lambeth, you might want to use another borough's Local Offer to find out about their services. These links will take you to the Local Offer sites of our surrounding boroughs:
