Tenants' and residents' associations (TRAs)

There are over 40 residents’ associations in the borough. Find out whether your property is covered by a TRA or how to set one up. 

Tenants’ and residents’ associations (TRAs) play an important role in representing the interests of tenants and leaseholders in a particular local area (usually an estate) and are consulted on issues relating to the services provided on the estate.

TRAs are the main source of our engagement with residents.

We are also very keen to develop the skills of our TRA representatives. We will organise TRA courses on chairing meetings and organising committees, as well as setting up websites and producing newsletters.
