Sold leasehold properties

Notice of assignment

When a property is sold, the buyer must tell us about it through a notice of assignment. This is also called a notice of transfer.

If you’ve recently sold your lease, it’s the responsibility of the buyer’s solicitor to pay the fee and send us a notice of assignment. That way, we can update our records.

Please check with your solicitor to find out if the buyer has sent us the paperwork.
