Mental wellbeing

Use this guide to find information on how to stay mentally well, and see what services Lambeth has to offer when you are struggling.

Making small changes to your life can have a massive impact on the way you feel.

During the Covid-19 outbreak, because of so much uncertainty you may have been feeling anxious, stressed, worried or lonely. And now, with the cost of living soaring and the energy prices set to raise even further you might be feeling even more anxious or worried about finances.

In times like these, our mental health can suffer and we don’t always know that it is happening.

You might feel:

  • more on edge than usual
  • angry
  • frustrated with others
  • sad
  • foggy headed
  • unable to focus or perform simple day-to-day tasks like you used to
  • unable to sleeping

It’s important to remember that it is ok to feel this way and that everyone reacts differently. Realising that you are struggling with your mental health is the first step towards feeling better. Talking to someone about it, the second.

There is so much information out there on mental health that sometimes it may seem overwhelming just deciding where to go to get the right information or support. So we have put together this helpful guide to help you navigate the support available online and locally.
