Next steps

We will send copies of an application for a safety certificate to:

  • the Metropolitan Police
  • the London Fire Brigade
  • our Building Control officers.

Each of these bodies must be consulted about the terms and conditions to be included in a certificate. We will also consult these bodies about any proposed amendment, replacement or transfer applications.

We will also consider whether the applicant is in a position to prevent any breach of the terms and conditions of a certificate.

If you have not heard from the council within a reasonable period, please contact us at licensing@lambeth.gov.uk.
