LTN consultation
Have your say now!

We’re asking people who live, work and travel in the trial low traffic neighbourhood (LTN) in Railton and Oval to Stockwell to share their views by doing a survey. This is because we’re considering making the changes permanent after monitoring the LTN and finding that it has been reducing traffic in the area.

Lambeth backs drive for blood donors from Black communities

We’re encouraging residents, particularly from our Black communities, to give blood. The Bonded By Blood campaign was set up in memory of 19-year-old Richard Okorogheye, who had sickle cell disorder and tragically died in April this year. More donors are needed to help treat the 15,000 people with sickle cell across the country. You can visit the Town Hall on Sunday 10 October to attend a blood donor session.

Lambeth Council electoral ward changes announced

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England began consulting on Lambeth’s electoral wards last year and has now released the final recommendations, which have been shaped by feedback from residents and community groups as well as the council. The proposed changes include an increase in the number of wards in the borough.

Take part in Lambeth’s One Bag a Week Challenge

Recycling is something we can all do to help reduce Lambeth’s carbon emissions and help the borough become carbon neutral by 2030. Many residents recycle a lot of their rubbish, but if you throw away more than one bag of non-recyclable rubbish a week – we’ve set you a challenge to get this down to just one bag a week or even less if you can!

Have your say on Lambeth School Streets

Lambeth Council is looking to make the journey to school safer for pupils by introducing School Streets. In 2020 we introduced a number of new School Street schemes. These schemes are now moving to an Experimental Traffic Order and we want your views on this. The consultation runs from 14 June to 14 December.
