Vaccination is safe and effective, giving you the best protection against Covid-19 - find walk-in sites. Free rapid tests can be ordered online and are available throughout the borough. If you test positive, please self-isolate, support is available to help you do so.
New measures are now in place to prevent the spread of the Omicron Covid-19 variant. Help to keep loved ones and our communities safe by following the new measures in place to prevent the spread of the recently identified variant.
To help keep Lambeth safe, we should all: wear masks in indoor places and on public transport, get vaccinated, and test regularly for the virus.

Oval and Railton LTNs become permanent
The Oval to Stockwell and Railton low traffic neighbourhoods are set to become permanent following public consultation. It means local streets in both neighbourhoods will restrict motor vehicle through traffic, with some exceptions, to enable better walking and cycling routes, improve air quality and make streets safer for all users.

Brixton Hill Low Traffic Neighbourhood
We’re planning to create a new low traffic neighbourhood (LTN) in Brixton Hill because many local streets are clogged by motor vehicles using them as a shortcut. By reducing traffic, we can support more people to walk, wheel, scoot and cycle. The consultation runs from 10 December 2021 to 4 February 2022.
